National Income Life Insurance

We are pleased to announce that all Twin Rivers FCU members now have new supplemental benefits to make your credit union membership even more valuable! Your Twin Rivers FCU Leadership Team is making this notice available to our credit union members to clarify any questions you may have about this program. The benefits are jointly sponsored with National Income Life Insurance Company, a company servicing working families for more than 65 years. These benefits include:

$2,000.00 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Benefit at NO COST!
• Health Services Discount Card which provides point-of-service discounts of up to 60% on Vision Care, Dental Care, Prescriptions and Hearing Care, at an annual fee of only $6 for your entire household!
• Child Safe Kits – this valuable tool can provide information to the authorities if your child or grandchild should ever go missing!

A benefits notice is coming soon so please check your mail or go online here for more information regarding these supplemental benefits!

There are more no cost benefits available to you if you return the response card or respond online. Upon doing so, a National Income Life Representative will contact you to set up a convenient time to deliver your benefits to you and explain the affordable, permanent & portable Family Care Program that has been made available.

In other words, if you do not want a Representative to visit you in your home, do not return the response card because all credit union members are covered on the AD&D benefit mentioned above regardless of whether the response card is returned. However, if you would like a courteous and professional National Income Life Representative to visit you in the convenience of your home, the response card must be returned in order to receive the full package of benefits we have made available to you, like the Health Services Discount Card and Child Safe Kit(s), as well as the opportunity to avoid estate taxation by designating your beneficiary in the presence of a National Income Life Representative. If, however, you would rather visit with a Representative at the Credit Union, simply mention your preference to the Representative when s/he calls. We will reserve a room for your visit. Please know that due to the fact that personal & confidential as well as policy coverage information will be discussed during a visit, the home is a preferable location & offered as a convenience to you. Either way, National Income Life is willing to accommodate your preference.

After reviewing the benefits notice, should you have any questions or for further information, please feel free to contact National Income Life Public Relations & Marketing Representative David Scalisi @ 315-345-8425.

Below is a summary of supplemental insurance benefits the National Income Life Representative will be explaining to you during your scheduled visit:

Freedom of Choice: Final Expense Plan

A life insurance plan designed to take care of immediate financial needs placed on a family when a loved one passes away. As the name implies, families have the freedom of choosing the funeral home, location and type of funeral when it is needed.

Term Insurance

A term rider is available to cover the needs of a temporary nature. The beneficiary can request a lump sum payment upon the insured’s death or can request the benefits be spread out over several years to provide a monthly benefit amount to help them adjust to the loss of the insured’s monthly income.

Head Start

The Head Start program is available for children ages zero to seventeen. It serves as a vehicle for parents or grandparents to purchase life insurance for a child or grandchild when it is least expensive. Head Start is whole life insurance with options to purchase additional whole life insurance at future dates without evidence of insurability.

Accident Policy: Form A71000 series

The plan provides benefits for accidental death and dismemberment as well as hospital confinement and intensive care treatment if related to an accident. An optional rider is available which pays a benefit if the member has an emergency room treatment as a result of an accident when treated within 72 hours of the accidental injury.

Terminal Illness Rider

This rider can be added to a life insurance policy at no cost to the insured. The Accelerated Benefit pays 50% of the coverage face amount when the injured is diagnosed with a terminal illness and has a life expectancy of less than 12 months. The policy premiums remain the same after payment of the Accelerated Benefit to the insured and the beneficiary receives the remainder of the policy proceeds upon death of the insured.

(Descriptions above are summaries & provide very brief descriptions and are not an insurance contract. Complete details of the benefits, terms, conditions & exclusions of specific policies should be obtained from a National Income Life Representative.)
